The Whitsunday Running Club organises two significant festivals each year, namely the Airlie Beach Marathon Festival on 17/18 July 2021 and the Whitsunday Trail Festival on 11/12 September 2021.
These festivals attract 700-800 runners each year.
With the advent of COVID it has become harder to attract sponsors, in particular from our core businesses in the tourism sector.
In order to organise these two events and administer the running club we need to attract additional funding and have decided to introduce a Whitsunday Running 200 Club.

Rules of the competition
The Whitsunday Running 200 Club is a category 2 ‘art union’ run under the Guidelines of the Office of Liquor and Gaming in the Queensland Department of Justice and Attorney General.
A maximum of 200 tickets will be sold at $200.00 each.

Closing and Draw Date:
18 July 2021 at the Airlie Beach Marathon Festival race precinct, Airlie Beach Foreshore. (If all tickets are not sold by 18 July 2021 then the date for the draw may be extended).
Notification:
All ticket holders will be notified of the result by email after the draw on 18 July 2021.
